Launching “Get It There Faster 2.0,” an Enhanced Version of EFW’s Rating API that Delivers Real-Time, Expedited Options for LTL Shippers
Estes Forwarding Worldwide (EFW), a leading United States domestic and international freight forwarder specializing in custom logistics and warehousing solutions, announced a collaboration with project44, a leading supply chain visibility platform, that will bring to market an enhanced version of “Get It There Faster,” EFW’s LTL Rating API that delivers real-time, expedited solutions for LTL shippers.
Many 3PLs and transportation management platforms that provide LTL rates do not currently offer instant rating options for significantly expedited shipments, like air freight or ground hotshot. When connected to EFW’s “Get It There Faster” technology, shippers can instantly see rates for faster options, even if they aren’t shopping for them.

“Get It There Faster 2.0” key benefits will include the following:
- Expedited LTL Options: Your basic LTL rate request will return expedited options that shave days off standard LTL transit times, even offering air freight or ground hotshot services.
- An Elevated User Experience: “Get It There Faster” presents expedited options that a shipper may not have known were possible – at the point of sale. For example, shippers will be offered a next-day air option on 4-day LTL lanes. This may lead to a reduction in the total cost of the project. It will also improve the service outcome for the customer.
- Instant Rates: “Get It There Faster” rates are instant – even for air freight.
- Directly Available Through project44: EFW’s collaboration with project44 will make it even easier for project44 customers to connect to the “Get It There Faster” API.
